What up, foo?

Being a college Republican can make for some interesting times. It can lead you to weird stalkerish type experience, assorted covert ops, and Q and A sessions with Congressmen. Today I ran into the first and third options, with less than satisfactory results. First off, the chick was obviously crazy, and I was somewhat weirded out by the whole "I'll see you tonight, through your window" comment. However, that was no excuse for the tragedy of me not adding her number to the list of cute girls I've not got the balls to call that occupies my cell phone.

Secondly, Representative Pat Tiberi is a patronizing son of a bitch. I asked him if he what he thought should be done to counter the insane deficit spending that our government is addicted to, and he countered with a banal 15 minute lecture on the origins of the deficit and basic stuff like entitlements (a word he somehow didn't use.) Instead of answering my question, he talked to one of the more informed audiences he's apt to encounter campaigning as though we were completely unfamiliar with the basics of deficit spending. After somehow bringing social security (which any idiot with a paycheck can obviously see is separate from the federal government's budget) into his "answer," he finished off his comments by looking me in the eye, and encouraging us all not to be cynical. I guess they really don't know how to answer questions.
